Micro-Allotment Shelter (2012)

The Micro-Allotment Shelter is a portable structure which both provides refuge and sustenance (a crop of edible vegetable material) in inhospitable environments. It is essentially a tent which grows food for its occupant, bringing a growth medium and micro-climate to places where there aren't otherwise appropriate conditions. It was tested in Iceland in December 2012 over a period of seven days.
